| Last night, during Preservation Maryland's Phoenix Rising and Best of Maryland Awards Bobby Shores and Captain Stoney Whitelock of Skipjack Heritage, Inc. received the George T. Harrison Outstanding Volunteer Award for their commitment to supporting the preservation of the traditions, stories, knowledge, and vessels that have shaped our maritime heritage.
We are proud and grateful to have the work of these two amazing individuals recognized and we hope everyone stops by the Skipjack Heritage Museum in Chance to learn all about the historic workboats of the Chesapeake!
