Welcome to our brand new website.

This site is just not dedicated to the Skipjack (boat) itself, but is a liitle different in that we wanted to focus on the people of Deal Island and its surrounding townships seeing how much history and tradition is in such a reserved area of lower Delmarva. While we have those who are still dedicated to living in the area and call home there are many of us who no longer reside on that part of the shore, still have family there and can count our ancestors who migrated there in the 1600's - 1700's.

Salt water still runs through our veins as is our fondness for the water, the rich heritage and culture of the Island area and more than anything the heart and soul of the people.
